Bobby spends long hours developing a new type of pipe. He gets it right and sells it to a store.

Billy sees Bobby's finished piece and copies it. He didn't have all the time and research in it, so he sells it to a store for less. He doesn't know who made the first one, and he doesn't care. He makes them (and develops new styles) for a long time and considers the design "His"

Janey sees Billy's finished piece and copies it. She doesn't know who made the first one, and she doesn't care. She works out of a garage and has less overhead so she sells it to a store for less.

Gary buys Janey's finished piece and takes it overseas to be mass produced.
And Ahmad makes this type of pipe for the equivalent of 7 American dollars. He doesn't know who made the first one, and he doesn't care.
Bazim will make them for 6....
Anyone who ever made $25 ten years ago for a wrap and wrake spoon can tell you: This is a constantly changing, creative industry. You either move your feet, or it will swallow you.

A marble in glass working terms is more of a sculptural work of beauty rather than a functional toy. Glass marbles can be made in any size and can range from extreme simplicity, to dazzling complexity. Usualy in the shape of a sphere.

Glasshole is a general term for someone who works glass, who is also an a**hole. See how that works?

Being labeled a "glasshole" is subjective but could be a result of many reasons like these:

- Thinks(s)he is better than 95% of all glassblowers.

- Will not talk to other glassblowers about glass

- Has a superior, 'know it all' attitude

- Knows all the glass techniques

- Knows and has used every color including the experimental ones

- Looks down on anyone who does not know as much as (s)he

- Needs to learn nothing new as a result of knowng everything already
