The Art Glass Colors Database is for all flameworking glass artists. It's intended to be a one-stop resource for information, tips, and tricks on working with specific colors.<br />

As you can imagine, this is a massive undertaking and will only be successful with input from as many people as possible. If you've got experience with a particular color, and are willing to share, you've come to the right place!<br />

The AGCD is organized in the following manner:<br />

•COE <br />
<br />
•manufacturer <br />
<br />
•type of glass (transparent, opaque, opalino, specials, etc.) <br />
<br />
•color<br />
<br />
To enter information on a particular color, please include as much of the following as possible:<br />
<br />
•color name and manufacturer product number <br />
<br />
•picture of color (400x500 pixels max photo size, 500 kb max file size) <br />
<br />
•characteristics of the color (e.g. stiff or soft, burns or devits easily, is it a striking or reducing color, is it a reactive color, etc.)<br />
<br />
•what colors work well with this color <br />
<br />
•what colors do not work well (may be helpful to include why this is so) <br />
<br />
•tips and tricks for working with this color <br />
<br />
•acceptable substitutes for this color <br />
<br />
•your torch make and model <br />
<br />
•your fuel type and oxygen source <br />
<br />
•anything else you feel folks should be aware of when working with this color<br />

Please feel free to add whatever pages are needed to make this wiki as complete and helpful as possible.
