Kiln
a kiln is a very important aspect of glassblowing ( lampworking) it is used to anneal a piece at the end of the day by following a ramp down cycle.
the kiln is also used while a large multiple section piece is being made. for example section A is made,put in the kiln, then section B is made,put in the kiln then section A is attached to section B and so on.
It is typical to set the temperature in between 1050-1150 degrees F when working with boro glass
