chinex: borosillicate glass tubing and rod manufactured in china by unknown companies. Sold in rod and tubing this glass is usually inferior to comparable borosillicate glasses like; simax , kimax, eigenshaft, and UST glass, because of poor quality control. Evidence of chinex's inferiority can be found by looking at a full length of tubing and or rod. Looking at the reflection of the light on the glass while spinning the peice you can notice inconsistencies.
