Chelmsford Glass

Chelmsford (Lowell,1826) Mass., glass works that operated from 1802 to 1827. Production included many forms of bottles, but it thought that the Lowell railroad flask was produced by this company. It featured a design of a horse drawn freight car on one side, with "Railroad" marked above and "Lowell" marked below. An eagle was on the reverse side.
