The glass works was started in 1873 by Robert Morres and John Nicholson at Schuylkill, near Philadelphia; it operated until 1808. In 1810 it reopened as Skhuylkill Glass Works. In 1823 as the Philadelphia Glass Works. Production included: bottles flint glass green glass tablerwares window glass
