A glass expert who came to America from England in the 1880s, working at the LaBelle and Bridgeport (Buckeye) Glass Works at Bridgeport, Ohio. He operated his own works at Indiana, PA., from the 1890s to 1900s. He was known for his fine pressed wares in "custard glass," a off white milky glass.
