Man that kiln is a true pimp! Does the right door have three sperate doors? How affordable is it to have one built?
Crayons = SUPER oxy flame, work way out in the flame. If you have a inner/outer flame crank the shit out of the oxy on your outers.
Atleast this is how I work them on my Phantom. When I had a red max I wouldn't even try because they boiled so bad.
I'm going to test it out and see how I like it up there. I noticed it made me feel a little confined last night while I was on the torch. If I do move it it will be right to the left of the wall that it is next to it will still be like it's on my bench just not I'll snap a pic after it stops raining so you can see what I'm talking about.
Thanks bro I had alot of trouble using them at first too, Last night was my first time getting it not to boil and I still had a little bit of boiling. I think it is just practice the more I practice the more I'm able to use the colors I couldn't use before. I start out using a real soft bushy flame and get the color I want to work in the back of the flame do not rush it I find if I rush it and get it too close to the flame that's where my problems start. As it get's good and hot and you have a good heat base you can start introducing more heat but easy does it. Once it starts boiling it spreads fast and you will have to tear the boiling parts off.
Thanks man The Glass Hive rocks I'm really glad I went with them, yes sir the right door is in three sections and there is a magnet on it to hold the door up in 2 different positions. They will totally work with you to build the kiln you want it varies in price depending on size and style I paid $1385.00 shipped for mine.
@Hazeey Thanks bro I can't wait to start rocking out some prodo out of this beast. Now this is where the real fun starts:bouncy:
LOL, so my major/minor will probably be even worse. I actually used some orange crayon today and made some glass sea mines. I used a really low reducing flame and it turned out great. I boiled a couple pieces but was able to pull it off and salvage it. I noticed the closer I got to the tip the faster it would boil even in the reducing flame. It just seems crazy to work with that much solid crayon, it would take me a year to make something that size lol
Fresh out the Kiln, My first day running the kiln and it was great I had a couple fails but for the most part it was quite successful.

Thanks for looking :D
not too shabby for a bar of soap:) Baller kiln too, I think I like what Im seeing better than my F130, is that 110v or 220? Really like those dimensions. Still prefer the AIM doors, but anything beats the paragon punty doors of death.
Lmafo Thanks Alien! Yeah she's a 220V and she heats up super fast and stay's at temperature even with the punty door open. You can get the option for the guillotine door but I didn't have the funds I just about broke myself going as big as I did. She is quite functional I have no gripes about the doors that I got and the telescoping rod rest is the bomb.
My kiln sits on my bench, dont like running all over for my parts. Nice pendant with the crayon. I never thought I would not boil crayons, takes practice. Keep up the good work.
fucking baller kiln, really love those glass hives, definitely who would get my kiln dollas
Kiln on bench = Pleasant in Winter, hell in summer.
I'm digging the kiln on the bench I think I will keep it where it's at, It's not in the way and it's right there within arm's reach. Here's a couple spoons I made last night. This was my first time striking in the kiln too I'm figuring it out slowly but surly.

These spoons look very consistent, nice shaping and coloring. What size tubing are you using?
Thanks bro I've been working hard on my consistency. I'm using 25.4 x 4 tubing for all my spoons.

Nice work Levi!
Progress is coming along great Levi! I am yet to try a retti, but you're really inspiring me to do so! Your pendants look great, your dishes are looking better, and your spoons are consistent, you're starting to develop a style, for sure. I'm sure jealous of your kiln, look awesome! I really wish I had something like that, but hey, my top loader works, and its mine, and that's all that really matter :D
also, The phat, yes, P-H phat, marble on the dabber handle is SICK!
@ Gambit thanks bro I'm getting there. I'm getting more confident with every piece. I got certain things I need to work on I'm defiantly feeling the flow lately some days more than others. I've just about got the courage up to try a r-ball it's been intimidating me.
@ Rookie Thanks it really means alot bro. I'm trying to find a shape and style that I like best for my first prodo line. I'll be pumping out spoons all this week I'm going to go sell my first order of spoons to a shop in town. Dude told me he'll buy everything I got as long as I don't sell to the other shop's in town kinda shady if you ask me. He's got the nicest shop in town for sure it's where I would want my work at I just hope he's not a total douche bag. I had to stop showing my pieces on facebook everything was selling soon as I made it which I'm not complaining, But I've been trying to get a stock up to get to this guy he's been on my ass for month's to get my glass.
I'm digging the kiln for sure she's a beast I've officially named her Rojo Grande. I can't wait till I can fill her up the most spoons I've gotten in her at once was 8 and that was a long day but I was doing pendants and dabbers and dish's in between spoons.
Here's some of that green that you turned me on too matt. On the implosion the green is in the back.
