Great job on that green exotic man. I like your overall set-up too. Makes me wanna post the shop I've been working on over the past month. A few things that might help:

Punties - If your having trouble with cold seals, make sure that your heating and sealing as small of a surface area of your punty as you can. This can really be helped by rounding or tapering your punties before using them. An L marver does an awesome job of doing this for you. I had cold seal trouble at first, but watching these two things really helped me out.

Color - Dark Multi was one of the first colors i ever used. I recently used a couple of regular multi sticks, and didn't like it as much. Just my opinion. My current NS favorites are butterscotch and Amber Purple.

Fuming - Try playing with doing layers of Silver, and Gold. Also fuming Silver, burning it off, then using a reducing flame to bring it back can be fun, if you haven't ever tried it.

Repped for the awesome work, keep posting it man!

Thanks bro I felt the same way about it I did a w/r with it when I first got it and I over worked it and got that earthy baby poo color EWWWW. I put it down and was intimidated by it everytime I looked at it, then yesterday I said eff it and tried it and everything came out pretty good. So I will be using more of it now it's funny how you get over one intimidation just to find something else that is just as intimidating if not more lol.

BTW it's funny how the people that buy my stuff pick out what I think is my worst pieces wonky and over worked and they love them I don't get it.

Thanks Mr. P0rn It's a work in progress as I get better and see how I would like my bench setup and try to apply it, I'm trying to keep it spacious and functional at the same time feel free to post some pic's bro I love new ideas. It's better to see what seasoned lampworkers are rocking in their shop's.

Yeah I had a feeling I was going to like the dark multi better it's alright I'll put the multi to good use. I haven't used much color as of yet I'm really liking the double amber purple ATM though.

I just started using a little bit of gold on my fuming and it is really cool the greens and pinks are awesome. I'm still a fuming newb most times it comes out great and others not so much. I need to get some quartz rods for my silver and gold at least for my silver my biggest problem it melting the rod over the silver. The burning off the silver and bringing it back with the reducing flame is how I've gotten some of my best fuming.

Thanks for taking a look everybody and keep on melting!

The shaping on that pendant is very good Levi nice centered clasp and nicely shaped lens. Cant wait to see what you can do when you get a kiln going.

Looking good levi, the restrictions can be tough, way to use up scraps, and the shaping looks on point!

Nice chillum. Do you use an L-marver on your torch? they can be helpfull with constrictions sometimes. I'd rather a constriction be a little too big that too small though. If it is too small sometimes you can get away with heating the outside and using a small tungten to ream it from the inside.

When its too big i will always get smaller with "use" of the "tobacco" if you know what i'm sayin.

That one looks pretty good though

Here's some stuff from last night for the most part I used scraps off my bench to make. I'm trying to be a little more frugal with my glass, I found a box of stuff from my first month and found all kinds of treasures that I can use and here's the results.

double amber purple over cobalt blue is what I've been using I tried a couple other color combos but it wan't as nice as the Double AP over cobalt (I don't have much color to begin with). I haven't had any luck when I try to do one fumed but I'm going to keep trying.

Well I haven't been behind the torch much lately mostly waiting for my kiln to get in and it just got finished today. I'm super stoked I can't wait to fill her full of glass. The glass hive was a real pleasure to go through pam was real helpful to a newb like me through the whole process. Mad prop's to The Glass Hive for keeping it real

Here's some pic's of her and a couple new pendants.

Why not leave it on your bench? Looks like you have room and it's pretty nice to have your kiln right there. That thing looks badass

Dude, HOW!!! lol I cannot figure out how to work with crayon to save my life and I love the colors. It is driving me crazy. It doesn't seem to matter how much heat I don't use, it seems like I can use a reducing flame and work way out in the flame and it still boils as soon as it turns red. I can't even encase it with good results. Bummer

    Awesome job though man.
