Not accusing anyone of anything, but as soon as I saw these cut lines on a Mirage in Oregon, I was curious. Just putting it up here in the remote chance it helps someone. Zero feedback too.

Omg Tiger Shark Loaned at Salem, got busted before it could be returned, out now, all goo

Not really stolen, i'm a Salem student and I loaned a Tiger Shark to someone (Chris i think) to try out, its got the water cooling jacket, and was attached to a section of microphone stand. Chris, if you see this contact me please, I got arrested before the end of the semester, or if anyone else has it, I really miss her.

I see no reason it's stolen . home made base , no name valves , never seen one with that exact heat sink , could be home made as well , looks like lots of hours on the head ,polished up the outside . can't tell but looks like the rings between the outer ports may be starting to wear away , looks fine for 800$ , two on here ,last week , 400 a piece .

I think the cut hoses suggest something is amiss. That and it isn't a CC+ (I'm only counting two rings past the centerfire, I could be wrong).

ETA: I'm not suggesting that is is stolen, but those are two good reasons why someone could wonder if it is and ask about it.

Guys they're at it again! Check out the base on the stolen torch in question a few months ago.
Do you see the permanent marker markings on the base covering up the scratches.

They are the same in the example 2 just listed in Bend,Oregon a few minutes ago!

Look really close in example 1 for the discoloration in the shades of black

i was about to post up the link to the stolen mirage, IT HAS A REAL EBAY ACCOUNT NOW. find the rightful owner so he can notify police. in fact, the ebay account has more items. the real owner can buy something else like thats 20 dollars, get an adress and send the cops there.

It seems like they got someone else with an Ebay account to list it. I wonder if it's someone in the same area or someone who lists items for other people for a living.

Here's the thing. Some guy is sitting waiting on a $2500 Delta Elite torch that will never show up as it is already re-listed.

with ebay and paypal, youll always get your money back when you never get any item shipped. what ebay does is give you the money and then ebay puts a debt into the sellers account. so when you go to pay your ebay fee's (each month) youre stuck with that payment but thats if you spent the money. and ebay takes that very serious when it comes to THEIR money getting sent out.

The auction was ended as "No longer available" so the msg to the seller worked.

I just saw some pretty sketch national 8Ms on Ebay, 150 a piece and one of them looks out of place, like why take pics of your torch on the floor if you have a glass studio

For starters why would anyone steal a national and second trevs glass is a reputable company that most in the glass community know. If they are selling a torch on ebay it is most certainly not stolen but thanks for keeping your eyes open.

Rude. Thieves kinda take what they can get when they are at your house. I got robbed a few weeks ago, and they took everything in my house from clothing to silverware. Not worth as much as a national torch.
