i don't like flat bottoms on my spoons, myself. it's a built-in weak point on what should be the indestructible bit of the piece.

my experience is that spoons go into pockets with bolts, keys, ball bearings, and other stuff that likes to beat on spoons all over.

plus if your carb is blown out slightly (as most are) the piece isn't going to roll over like it's round, unless you're trying to balance it on a slope.

yes, i've had this argument with many people. lol. if you reeeally want a flat bottom, i can do that.

The other night I made my first pipe in maybe 5 years

I have always been more into marbles and pendants. I need some more practice before I'll feel ok sending one of these out. (Any refresher tips on blowing the hole/pushing the bowl with out it becoming another carb?)
