I don't sell to shops yet and most are private sales but my goto side is the left side for right handed people, when I do have a left handed customer I pop on right
My Dad is a lefty and pointed it out to me, I told him its a right hand world! lol
Left
Right
Left or Right side?
I always put mine on the left side.just curious if some people mix it up and if people/shops have shown any preference to one or the other side.

I always pop it on the left because thats what I prefer. I also like my carbs on the larger side, not huge, just big enough that it clears the whole pipe when I use the carb.
Maybe you got use to and conformed around it because thats what was readily available. I would think that a lefty would want to use their hand with the most dexterity for lighting, but what do I know i'm just a stupid righty !
I also prefer my carb on the larger side, easier access to clean as well!
I can light a lighter with both hands.
I'm bic-a-dextrious.
I can also cover a carb with my thumb OR pointer finger too..
carb-a-dextrious?

Side does not matter as much to me. Left more than right. Unless requested on the right.
The more Important thing , is that the hole in the bottom of the bell , be lower than the carb hole on the side.
Or fingers get burned.
I like my carb slightly to the mouth piece end of the bowl head. Angled at the user more than square to the piece.
thanks everyone, the main reason I asked was because I noticed that nomad's seemed to all be on the right side,I most often see left though.
i truly dont believe in right or left handed pieces
ask any left or righty, some will hold in right some will hold in left
also as stated, it depends whether you like carbing with thumb or finger
im a lefty, prefer to hold pipe with my left hand. ive noticed most people like to light with their dominant hand however.
i like to hold with my left hand and carb with my index. so almost all my pipes get a right side carb. if im doing a big batch of prodo ill do them 50/50 left and right. never had anyone mention anything.
to me, the most important part is carb size. i hate seeing too small or too big of a carb, there IS a function to it!!
i'm left handed and either side carb is not an issue. that being said my right handed friends all act like spazzes whenever i use a pipe with the carb on the right.
must be nice having a world cater everything to you...lol jk
Fire in the bowl!
^^ something i've noticed is that if the carb isn't big enough, you'll still be pulling air through the bowl with the carb open. that's the worst.to me, the most important part is carb size.
a friend of mine had a beautiful hammer piece he never used. it had a longish, old school blown out carb and it was constricted enough somewhere inside that it hardly worked. i always shoot for a carb at least twice the area of my bowl hole, maybe 1.5x the diameter.
put that shit on the front, fuck convention ✌️ (drops mic)
Barry, there are various methods of inputting unicode characters. Usually it's hold alt, then type the ascii code on the numerical pad, then when you release alt it types the special character. Unfortunately, for the new fancy emoji they've added, apparently to be able to easily use them by just typing the codes (on windows), you'd need to either hack the registry or install a browser plugin. (Apparently it's quite easy on linux, but I'm booted into windows right now.) The easiest way to do it, really, is to just google "peace sign character" and copy/paste from another web page. Hope that helps. ✌.
