i'm sure the op is a gentleman of distinguished character and will understand that when he has one post, and he's offering a torch far under it's normal resale value, that buyers will be cautious. i recommend face-to-face or C.O.D. to protect both parties involved.

but most people dont tell you about the blocked holes and still ask at least 1500
pics would be the best way to descibe it

Torch in hand is a good rule....... the person that buys this one should take a look at it first maybe even fire it up. Not sure how good gtt is a the referb..... My buddy is still waiting for his new torch and it's been like months and months since he was supposed to get it. Spend $1000 send it to GTT and get it back maybe 2011 if your lucky I'd say.

A refurbish costs under $200, that'd put the price at $1200. I'd still be cautious

i've seen one rebuilt by the w's and it was 700....it is now 200 just to clean a delta

...somebody is going to end up with a nice torch and pedal, even if you have to send it in for repair.

Just talked to the gentleman selling this torch. I will be meeting him in a week to test drive it and see if it is a viable rebuild or if I can just unclog the ports my self. If it is good to go I will be selling a pretty new phantom soon!

I am not selling the phantom yet. Calm down folks. If I do get the Mirage I will be sending it in for a refurb and working with my Phantom until it returns. No telling how long that will take. I already received PMs about the Phantom. There are folks here in town who have called dibs. I am not sure how long it will be or if it will happen. You guys will be informed and can start fightin over it when I know.

Does that work on GTTs also? I've seen someone take a metal file to a CC's face with good results.
