I really like the thickness you keep in your bell curves. I've had the opportunity to see a few in person.

Also the alien tech unit you sent keys is nice... it comes to my studio every so often

is that alien tech tubing or hand made stuff?

i thought it was just ok really it was my first attempt at making some AT tube. i kinda fogged it out a bit i think maybe, but yeah its my handmade jobby. its with AP. after a bit of collecting, i have about 5 distinctly different unobtainium batches. still havent really tried em all out to know what works best yet, but a couple work nice with practically 0 bubbles. also have some lokis, AP and silver creek to compare. i do have a piece of alien tech tubing i bought too, but just made one bubbly dish out of it, then got depressed.

The reason it got cloudy is the SBA, get some simax man you will like what it does with AP and english ivy.

try fuming chinese works good for me.the schot 32x5 i use does tend to muddy up fast thats just because the silver tends to stick a little quicker on it even if you cant really see it to much you just strike it a few times and it really brings it out! it just sucks having to learn the fume charecter of a differnt type of tube when your used to one kind

ya well, i'm not ordering clear from the US, shipping costs are crazy on cases of clear. i dont think anyone is bringing it into B.C. that i know of. i wouldnt mind trying it, i guess i could buy a couple tubes. would be a shame to get to likin' something i cant get at a decent shipping cost tho.

on that note, i did some english ivy on unob with no clear on top, and its completely different. just like the accents on the ivy piece i posted earlier.

on the alien tech piece i made it got cloudy ya, but lots of guys have gotten the cloudy effect with the northstar tubing too. i think i can do better than i did on my first attempt. maybe if i have only SBA i shouldnt clear coat it..

Well, when it reduces with simax the lokis makes sick lime green blue type colors, with SBA it just turns a milky beige ugly color.

I would suggest simply ordering a single piece of simax 38x2.4 and see how you like it.

hey you know its weird i swear some strikers have been acting more reduced when using a very heavy oxy flame instead of a more neutral one, does that seem possible? exp green #5 in particular. i used to get nice green marbles, now they are all going really blue, but i coulda swore im using way more oxy, not less.

Have you tried Pegasus glass? It's all the way over here in Ontario, but at least you wouldn't have to deal with duty & brokerage fees going across the border.

how do i burn bridges, i dont see any of that. i say people make crappy curve copies, what else do i do thats mean, thats about it, isnt it?

i have never burned any glass supplier bridge except ABR, and thats just burnt one way. they would still sell to me, i just will never purchase from them again. and they arent local at all. i actually do have a really local (on the island) connection for simax on further thinking, he said he has cases of all sizes of clear. i'm just too lazy so far to initiate the getting. i got boxes of everything i need still.
