Re: HMK's mediocre glass thread
Id work on the rettis for sure, those are not easy.
Try pulling thinner stringers, and make sure that you spin the same amount both ways cuz the last one looks like you spun one way more than the other.

Re: HMK's mediocre glass thread
maybe a bit ya. thinner hey? huh, why go thinner dom, i thought there was a point it would be too thin and not so easy to see? i could pull them way thinner but it would make them pretty hard to lay down..
you will shank me later

Easiest way to get both layers 'twisted' the same amount is to not twist them at all. Just draw the lines where you want them to be. Much easier to get them crispy.

Re: HMK's mediocre glass thread
So I just wanted to say Kut, your work is great man, I love your rigs and I'm glad your improving great, I wish the best for you. I am super excited for my rig, and there are tons of people out there who support you, so let these haters hate is all I have to say.
On to the next topic, I think it's pretty funny how all you glass blowers are ganging up on Kut, bashing him, and then say he's attacking you, when I haven't seen him attack anyone at all. I'm tired of people saying "You didn't invent this, you didn't invent that." When the fuck did Kut say he invented anything? What he said was he revolutionized glass oil dishes, and the curve for the industry. I don't know if any of you actually saw any of the posts that Kut put up on OG, because I know for a fact my friend did, and he told me how Kut was always posting stuff on there, 10 years ago in fact. Whether he invented an "oil dish" isn't the point, there were boro dishes probably before most people on this forum. I think it's sad that you have to point names and accuse someone when you have no idea. Kut revolutionized the industry and that's what it is, were there people with other impliments? Hot knifing has been around for awhile, but anyone actually have any proof he didn't revolutionize anything? Kut put in the hard work and love for it, he deserves it. If you think I'm Kut on another account, I'm going to say that's not happening, I just respect the man and his work, and not going to bash him just because he has less torch time than myself. That's pretty childish, and I know for a fact that you can be doing something for a very long time, and have people do it better in less time.
So to close this up I'm going to say Kut I can't wait to see what you come out with next, and I'm super excited for my rig, it should be any day now it seems
.
Also I know I'm going to get hated on, but I really don't care, you haters can hate, and I'll do what I keep doing best, repping good glass and supporting my blowers hard work and dedication.

^^wow. I haven't commented on any of this yet but im pretty sure that he did say he invented the curve...and no offence kut (I know u didn't post this) but I think people are "hatin" because it seems he doesn't really respect glass the way some of us do. Maybe he does and he is just fuckin with people...Also 10 years ago? I think I read he has only been blowin glass for a year. Maybe I'm misinformed.

Pulls up chair!.....
Ah Fuck it !.. let's get the formalities outta the way...Welcome to the TMP Konrad, hope you enjoy your stay!...
I never said I was blowing for 10 years, I said that he did all of this 10 years ago, Kut is new to the torch, but Ggirl has been making rigs since then, and Kut wrapped them, I believe he mentioned that on page 29. I am actually trying to start up with glass blowing and all. I appreciate the warm welcome, I know my first post was pretty angry, but I'm tired of all the hate on Kut, he's a great guy, and all of the times I have spoken to him he was very respectful and a good help, maybe if people actually spoke to him like a human being and not a piece of shit who cannot blow glass, maybe he would be nicer to people in return. Whether you want to bash him you can do what you wish, but I come here to enjoy his progression and to hear tips from people who want to help him, I don't come here to watch him be treated like shit by some people on here.

Yes, he has said it, but he isn't going around telling everyone and their mother about it, he did that when he was writing threads and taking pictures of his designs years ago. I see people come in, ask him what he did invent, and then bash him, pretty sure that's the cool thing to do now... Lawls. I don't know if you realize how Sarcastic Kut is, I can feel the sarcasm it's soo thick. Why would he want to be serious with people who are bashing him? I laughed at how serious people got.
Kut keep them raging and keep doing what you're doing.

I figured it was alot of sarcasim, and I've never hated on his work - but if you read around these threads a bit more you will discover that it's brought up alot

Dude you have been on this forum for two seconds and you already know exactly when and where he has spoken about this?
He actually did tell everyone and their mothers, and then in case some dead horses didnt hear him he made sure to mention it everytime it was (or wasnt) even brought up. And it was not sarcastic one time. He actually believes in his heart that he invented the stuff he says he did.
So get a clue before you make comments.
And I dont think anyone truely hates the man, most of us like myself are just busting his balls trying to push him to make his work better.
Ask Kut youself Ive shared plenty of help and tech with him while busting his balls once in a while too.

Re: HMK's mediocre glass thread
it is true, Dom, while abrasive, has dropped the odd knowledge bomb. sometimes to diss, sometimes to help
people who know the truth, know. those who deny it, are in denial. nothing new here. since its been so many years since i showed the first oil pipe with ti on OG, and quite a few years since my sister started making me worked oil dishes and dozens of brand name blowers caught on to that fad too, people feel they can argue, cuz its in the distant past. every 6 months or so we get to go through this when someone is rude to me and tells me i didn't do shit.
you will shank me later
