How do i get my website to pop up on google?

There are alot of ways to get listed on google. One way and a good way at that is to make a million or so sub dirs (easy not as complacated as it sounds).
that have dummy content. the google bot will index each one of the dirs and after a few months you will see your rank improve. I will put up a detailed how to if enuff ppl want it.

I am willing to trade my services for glass/tools. I can also build Gallerys, Ecom, mail systems, live vid feeds...

I have been a Software Developer for over 18 years and have built many high profile websites.

i don't care about rankings, i just want my website to pop up when people search for my name. I enter my name and even the web address and nothing comes up at all. I've submitted my website to google, but i guess it denied my website b/c it wasn't kewl enough or something.

Bad idea. Google is smarter than you; deal with it. They will find out, and they will punish you. Your site will disappear from the rankings faster than you can say "WTF."

Seriously, black-hat SEO is short-term at best. Don't try to trick the search engines. It's just not worth it.

depends on what you are trying to do... Ive done it many many many times.
Once you get you listing where you want it the sub dirs are deleted. and it's not against google TOS
I used to own dork.com we had 500,000 users each with a auto page gen when the signed up. if you were to do a search for "dork" you would see 1/2 mil listing pop up. all sub dirs... and it's not a trick... why pay some SEO company to do the same thing... if you think that they have a special in then you are wrong. This practice is the way many many SEO companies start you web litsing/quest.

Oh, I'm not questioning whether or not it works. I know that it works, it's just not a good idea. Google is well aware of the problems involving subdomain spam (remember the dude who got 5.5 billion pages indexed in less than a month?), and they (along with many others) are going to be taking steps to rectify the situation before too long.

The bottom line is that their business is to provide quality content to their visitors. When you use black-hat tactics to push your site higher, you're only proving that you need those tactics because your site isn't as good as your competition. Instead of focusing on the short-term, why not actually make your site kick ass? Especially in this case, where BetaB's site is his personal portfolio. It's worth it to develop quality content, good linking campaigns, effective site structure and navigation, etc. It will pay off in the end. That, and you'll keep your visitors happy.

dood, like i could make 5 billion diectories, let alone 5. I had to use apple's iweb to get a decent page. Now i have to figure out dreamweaver and html.........

as for what primathon said, i definatly want quality over quantity. I just want people to find my site if they are looking for MY SITE. Thanx for all the advice here, you guys rawk...

i'm one of those asses who searches for his name all the time... more that after i bought my domain. it changes weekly, even though i have all the meta tags, etc in place.
