2013 Marble Exchange

It only was after studying the metals, metalloids and non metals off of the periodic table + very high heat torching and researching chemical reactions with silicates for 8 months and doing lots and lots of trial and error marbles that I got the results of what you have in hand.

Boro has similar reactions in it's silvered glass line. But these reactions using Boro won't give the organic colors like opaque soft glass does. As far as I know, it's a new paradigm in marble making.

@richsantaclaus....thank you so much for the marbles. holding these in my hand is taking me back to my childhood....i had a huge bag of marbles very similar to these.

I am going to do another experiment with the metals in the rods in about 1 month - i am in the midst of moving!

I have to leave the rental I am in - the landlord short sold the house!

Well actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know if we'll have enough time.
