Are they from one of my old frames? If so, they might still be under warranty. Please send them in so I can take a look at them, then I can determine what we can do, either replace them under warranty or *MAYBE* re-edge the lenses into a new frame (that depends on existing lens shape and available frames that might fit them).

So when I bought my glasses from whale they said these glasses come with a lifetime warranty... Lifetime warranties don't run out do they?

Who actually made the glasses that you bought? Wale hasn't sourced from us in probably 10+ years. I know they get some from Phillips, but I don't know where they are sourcing their other products.

Our warranty program is 5 years, and covers manufacturing defects in the lenses plus frame breakage: such as hinge springs breaking or frames cracking at the bridge. Any sports frame is covered under the manufacturers warranty from Hilco, and requires that you get the frame replaced from them. We don't cover maintenance items such as hinge or eyewire screws. We don't cover dropping your frames on the floor.

Here is the actual language:

Aura Visual Concepts, Inc. will replace frames in the case of defects in materials or workmanship in the U.S.A. or Canada subject to the following conditions and limitations:Period of warranty: AUR® and AGW® branded products have a 5 year limited warranty.

If an individual frame within a category has been discontinued, Aura will replace the broken frames with a new frame from the same category. If an entire category has been discontinued, the purchaser may upgrade the frames and lenses to the replacement category for a $75.00 charge. Aura Visual Concepts, Inc. will replace any lenses which break due to frame defects. Prescription lenses may only be replaced in accordance with Aura Visual Concepts' Prescription Orders policy and are subject to our usual pricing for prescription lenses.

This warranty excludes damage from misuse, normal wear and tear, exposure to flying particles, and street wear. This warranty also excludes damage from significant impact in all models except for the Z87 safety frame series.

Eyewire and temple screws, nose pads, and other consumable products are not covered under this warranty. Each user is responsible for all daily maintenance of the eyewear.

Eyewear must be purchased from Aura Visual Concepts, Inc., or an authorized distributor to be covered under this warranty. Proof of purchase in the form of an invoice or charge slip must be provided to Aura Visual Concepts when presenting frames for replacement. Any eyewear presented without proof of purchase will be excluded from this warranty and the owner charged full retail price for all repair work.

All transportation and shipping costs and damage during shipping incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the owner, and Aura Visual Concepts, Inc. will not pay for these costs and makes no warranties for damage that may occur during shipment.

Aura Visual Concepts, Inc. shall not be liable for personal injury, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product, or arising out of any breach of this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. If a problem with this product develops during or after the warranty period, you may contact customer service at (320) 253-0919 or (800) 281-2872.

I have your standard metal frames and they popped in half at the nose piece. Just wear and tear. They are 6 years old so past warranty. Can you repair them for a fee. They were a 200 shade 5.

The 200 is a discontinued filter, we can change you over to a full coverage AGW-250 for $75, or to a split AGW-325 for $175.

Hey Mike.. Ive Had your 325 goggles for about 8 years now, and my eyes are grateful for it.. However the strap on the goggles in so worn out it keeps getting bigger and bigger I fold it over to shorten it but.. I was wondering if you guys sell replacement straps or do I have to McGuyver some shit up?

Dom - When Hilco discontinued the Zoom goggle earlier this year, they took the goggle parts out of the distributor network and I'm unable to get them. I've heard from a couple of my customers that Hilco does have some parts left, nose pad sets and head straps available, I would try calling them first.

If you can't score from them, head over to a fabric store and buy some stock elastic strapping and cut to the length you need, stitch up the ends to form the loops needed to attach to the frame body and you are done. I couple of folks I know with huge dreads went this route when they couldn't get the stock strap to fit properly and it worked for them.
