Looks o.g. Rain to me..
Was that a colab? I would rep you if I could.
Misha is one of my favorite pipe makers.
That's the kinda stuff that inspired me from the beginning!

Thanks guys. I think it's about 13 sections or so plus decorations. My sweetheart helped me on it so it's a collab. He made the lined tube for me to do the reversals with, he made the color tube, and we tag teamed assembly. I did all the stacking of parts, shaping, detail and the decorations, which is why it looks og ER. It's really awesome having someone capable to work with again. This is the stuff dreams are made of.

Hey Misha you every find a pic of that piece from like 10 years ago w/ the trip amb purple horns? Still one of my all time favs! Ive been looking for the piece I did that was 100% inspired by it.
I'm way overdue for my first glass pic post anyhow, I'll get something up tonight.
Thanks. I'll breakdown how it's done soon. Just curious if anyone else was doing these. Been awhile since I've been on & may have missed 50 posts on it. No idea. But yea, it is very fast. I went side by side with a much better blower than me & won the prep race for production.
very nice work, mike![]()

ill try again later tyrying to post my pics is driving me crazy... didn't mean to post this i tried to cancel it and i cant figure out how to delete it my bad.
ok i guess one pic worked. so anyway i frag grenaded a good sized section of wig wagged tubing and i didn't wanna throw the shards away so i flattened the shards into tiles with my hand torch and a paddle. then i coated a piece of 25 x 4 with the pieces and tried to get the lines to not match up on purpose. i think it came out good ill take a pic when its actually fresh from the kiln. sorry for my computer unsavvyness lol.

That's awesome, Ive tried doing that on purpose. Only thing I could add to that is cover the seams in clear. Kinda preheat & follow with a clear rod to work the air out of the seam & cover so I/O work doesn't reduce on the surface.
Thats awesome nice work

I don't get much glass time anymore but when I do
It's been a long time since I've made anything other than a simple bong slide or dabber. The skills fade quickly. Just don't melt in the summer heat. It was cool this morning so I coated 20 mm in cobalt. Then lined it with a bunch of colors and twisted the cane. It's almost a finished marble now but I got hot and stopped for the day. Here's a hot shot for![]()
