so Got the new glow yesterday, tried it out its the shit......... n my head came out really tight lookin Im startin to get the lusters and how to get them to come out right..

I also was trying some powder, i actually found amazon bronze, cheery wood and ss5 in 70 grain in a few lil samples i had from years back, hehe glad i didnt waste em when i didnt have a clue..

so I thin I am going to get the look i want, with these colors Lovin it just a testr but its doin what i want..

my glow in the dark pic sucke cuz my cam sucks, but ill get a better one when its actually dark hehe..

Im lovin that Exp Green #5 i got the frit and its bomb, made a bubble of white then a few coats with the frit, and blew it in few glow dots and Im keepin this one for my self hehe.. I like it...

used 2 inchs of color tube incased 1 inch and rod encased with disco clear the other, got 4 pens outa it.. not bad..

do you brace up your piece before doin the pulls? also i like applying blobs of clear er whatever to the the area your gonna pull out, make sure to melt in and puff a little.that way you got more to work with and it seems to keep the wall thickness al ittle more even. but sweet work... ive been doin those like crazy lately.

So I am pretty happy with this head, and the piece isnt to bad either heheh, going for diff combos later this color didnt give me desired effect..

Yeah, that blows man, sorry to hear it. That's a pretty nice piece. Really coming along on that design.

How do you go about fixing your cracks? Sometimes I can get them to heal right up with a big bushy flame and then zero in a bit, but a lot of the time they just keep running. I try to heat in front of it and work it back but then 9/10 times it just explodes, even after a good pre-heat. If I do get them to heal up, I usually get a little line in there.

whoooo so crack didnt fix as xpected but it did fix. it did the explode thing but i kept it together just had to fix 25 cracks instead , pretty much remelted the whole piece.

pipe looks totally different now ehheh we will see if it makes it outa the kiln tomorrow , did another too that checked on me while makin so we will see on that too.. english ivy n obtanium,

and shot i used 32mm rod.. :)

Ok So yup the cracks came back in force, heheh but now i guess i can keep it..lol

as you can see it gained bout 3 in in length hehe was all good but kiln crackin again, so i think i need to adjust my ratio of colors..

yesterdays came out good,, and a few essential oil pipes, and a head for my nephew, he wanted somethin with a knife in the head haah..

update they all cracked bahhh, cracked in the case today 3 days later, deff gona have to be careful with the sparklies there killin me latley..

I too really like that slide it is really nice.
Also.. if you do a wrap and rake right (rake with the same color and diameter as wrap.. you can use it for a scale effect (another dragon maybe?)

1 rod cam un tacked so I was tryin to re stick it and cracked the whole sleeve off the blo tube end, so i had a open stack barley melted in on my bench,, coiled some clear on re blo tubed it and saved it..

now Im makin somethin cool tonight, gona try anyways..

Yup all A/P only advice i have is, when im working it it gets almost clear like you cant really see color,, but once its done I runn it in the back flame for a while till the purples start to come out then pop it in the kiln..

i found out i get better color that way ,, more even

Damn crip, looks like I gotta step up my game. Killer action shots too, I didn't know you were busting out the hand torch for that. I gotta get some lines rigged up so I can start using my hand natty. On a foot pedal would be nice for easy ignition. Cool!
